There are ways to make the brushing time fun and exciting for your kids. Here are some tips below:
Give them a countdown clock
There is some toothbrushes that do have timers, a standard of spending 2 minutes brushing and concentrating a good portion of this time on the back molars. Kids find it fun waiting for the toothbrush to make a sound once it’s finished. Thankful to Hapee Kiddie for the owl countdown clock where we shared upon unboxing the Brush Time Box.
A little song gives them entertainment
Kids love songs. These days kids love to sing whether they are taking a bath or just brushing their teeth. Most of the time I am seeing my little Yvan pretending that he is brushing his favorite stuffed toys teeth.
Let them choose their favorite flavor of toothpaste
When I was young 😁, I never get to experience to have these varieties of flavor. Brushing time can be more exciting with Hapee Kiddie and its range of delicious flavors and colorful characters. My kid’s favorite flavor is cookies and cream ahoy, strawberry bloom, and juicy grapes. They also have Tutti fruitti twist, orange squeeze, and apple crunch.
Give them their own basket
They have also become more motivated since they have their own set of tumblers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap dispensers and towels in their favorite cartoon character. This way we teach our children to grow independently at some point and do little chores as well.
Give the right amount of Fluoride
Hapee Kiddie now has improved anti-cavity protection and kids can say bye-bye to tooth decay the fun way. And their toothpaste has 1,000 ppm of fluoride. “Children between 3 and 6 years old should brush at least twice daily with a pea-sized amount of toothpaste containing more than 1,000ppm fluoride.” Using fluoridated toothpaste and drinking water assists in the formation of enamel and remineralization of early signs of decay.
