My daughter Diana had fun attending the kitchen camp held at Makati Diamond Residences last May 3, 2019 together with the other little chef-in-the-making who got all busy this day. The event was organized by the San Miguel Purefoods (SMPF) Culinary Center in collaboration with Makati Diamond Residences. On it’s 24th annual activity of SMPF Culinary Center aims to instill love and appreciation for food and cooking while introducing various SMPF products that can help in preparation ease and enhance skills of young budding cook enthusiasts.
This year, our little chefs were taught how to prepare 5 scrumptious yet kid friendly recipes such as:
Nachos Afritada (Using Purefoods Chicken Afritada and Magnolia Cheddar Cheese), Pulled Pork Tacos ( using Pulled Pork Bbq Pinoy Style and Magnolia Cheeze Squeeze), Quick Meaty Spaghetti (using Dairy Creme, Monterey Ground Pork, Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs Jumbo and Magnolia Cheeze), for the dessert they have Flower Pot cakes ( using Magnolia Devil’s Food cake, La Pacita Graham Crackers, Magnolia Cream Cheese and Magnolia All Purpose Cream. Not to forget the Chicken Tinola using the Magnolia 3 way Chicken Ginger based.
The fun-filled and talented chefs of SMPF Culinary Center under the supervision of Pamela Obieta together with MDR chefs conducted the event.
Over all impression of the camp: My daughter had fun and she was so excited to try these recipes at home. Recipes made easy for our kids to prepare but not to forget to supervise them still while doing it. Kitchen camp is a perfect summer activity for our children not just enhancing their creativity yet to encourage them to be independently cooking for their family.
Til our next camp kiddos! See more photos on Buhaymommy blog 😊
