Another product has been tested. I hardly see Calamine lotion (Caladryl to be specific) in any leading drug store nearby. Since I am kind of worried when insects bites strikes. So I chose to ask my fellow mommies out there which brand is effective and yet it’s not pricey, I’ve tried some but it doesn’t really work. They highly recommend Calmoseptine which are readily available in leading and non-leading drug store near you. I was just surprised that it costs P49 (for the tube size below). I just need it badly that’s why i grabbed this even if if’s costly expensive than others.
Calmoseptine Ointment acts as a barrier to protect skin from moisture and irritating substances. This barrier function also helps protect the skin from drying out. In addition it has ingredients that help to draw moisture away from too moist or inflamed areas. Thus, it helps to maintain a healthy moisture balance for your skin.
Calmoseptine was originally developed for use on infants. They do not recommend that it be used on premature newborns.
Calmoseptine does not contain Latex or any “food products” such as nut, nut oils, wheat, gluten, fish oils or dairy derivatives. People with allergies to Lanolin or Menthol may react to Calmoseptine.

It’s really effective especially on mosquito bites and any skin irritations, long lasting protection and cost effective.
