Well, I hope naging blessing sa kanila ang aming tire which into my surprise costs around P20,000.00.

I would to like to share our experience having Charter Ping An Insurance as our vehicle insurance provider last year (2015) that we filed theft (loss of spare tire) and damaged claim. Took me years to finally review it.

My unforgettable #MBPGiftSwap Experience!

I started blogging when I was pregnant with my eldest son Yuri on 2008. I have no one to talk to and my turning point was joining an online group to a parenting site. It was a success making friends with them but felt sadness (ganun ata talaga buntis, may pagka-sensitive). I started my first blog,, I never knew then how to properly named my own blog. And it evolved from time to time. Dahil nanay ako, andaming inaasikaso and whenever I get depressed, I go on blogging. It was my diversion and virtual journal.

As time goes by blogging is very helpful not just to me and for sure for all people who wants testimonial for everything. May it be seeing review for a product you want to try, services you want to experience, places you want to go and so much more.

I am glad to be invited by Mommy Lani to be part of her blogging group, Mommy Bloggers Philippines, which now have 600+ members, and I am proud to say that most of the members here became my true friends, seen them and have some time bonding with them. It’s not just blogging that makes us bond, it’s the motherhood journey we shared.

I am excited to be part of this year’s #mbpgiftswap, and my lucky recipient is Mommy Nicole. I’ve decided to make a my very own journey box. This is so me and it reflects my whole being as a parenting blogger and as a mom. For I am quite nervous if she will liked it, and she was. I made her happy even if we don’t know each other personally.

Gave her beauty facial mask, nose pack and cream. One of my favorite scent of lotion, victoria secret love spell. Maybelline Micellar water for I knew she also loved make up, these things will make her fresh and relaxed. And because I am bento mom, I gave her children cookie cutters for them to use, and a leather type notebook or a planner which she can use for her work as a virtual assistant. Packed with much thoughts and love. Love notes included. 🙂

What gift did I received?

I was able to received a gift from Mommy Leilani Banzon of A mom who blogs about beauty, arts and craft, business, entertainment, education and even about cars. Thank you mommy Leilani for this wonderful desk lamp, definitely very useful specially working at night. I love the design as well. Perfect for reading and writing errands. 🙂

And we are truly THANKFUL to all the generous sponsors who shares their blessings to 10 lucky #mbpgiftswap winners. Surely, mas special ang Christmas to have these items ♥

Realizing Things after the Car Accident

It’s been five months after my husband had the frightful car accident. It was a very distressing situation for me and for my family. Thinking that life is too short and I realized more things after this accident happened. It was July 1st, when we are about to attend a family gathering somewhere in Laguna but we decided not to go. It was my mother’s instinct decision. Then my husband decided to go to his new office despite of resistance to do so. We have an argument that day because I don’t want him to go yet he insist. It was 9:00 in the evening when my children asked for their dad that they want to call him and children’s are crying and so they talked and I heard my children said “Daddy please come home now, we missed you”. And hours passed by and the children felt sleepy waiting. My husband did not call again and he didn’t come home. The following day (July 02), if I am not mistaken my husband’s number is calling me at passed 5:00 am. I kept on ignoring his call many times that I am still angry and can’t move on with my anger.

So to make the story short my husband got a serious car accident the following day he left home. (July 02, 2016). When I saw our car wrecked like this, I am speechless and I don’t know what should be my reaction towards the situation but I felt so scared, naisip ko pano na kaya ang mga bata? Dapat hindi ko inuna ang galit ko and I didn’t realized this is how serious his accident was.

What are the realization towards this situation?

  1. Learn how to understand your husband more, even if he is the most obstinate person you knew.

  2. Forgive. I could have lost my husband in single snap of my eye and did not say sorry for what happened.
  3. No blaming session. Don’t blame him for anything that happened. After all, it was an accident.
  4. Always cherish every single moment that you have with your spouse.
  5. Show your love and support to your spouse and help him cope after the accident. My husband got traumatized he did not eat, talk with his children, take a bath and even going out the room. I was all alone who is taking care of everything. I felt so down but I know I am with God. After a month, everything came back to normal.
  6. Be thankful. I will always be thankful that God gave my husband a second life and did not allow my husband to suffer from a serious physical injury or worst of all, death. I could not imagine how our lives will be if we lost him.
  7. Learn to let go. Letting go of all the hatred and anger in your heart. Life is really to short and you won’t really know what’s gonna happen next..
  8. You need to have a lot of patience working with your car insurance (until now our case is not yet closed).
  9. Expect a high level of stress working with the third party involved.
  10. Be attentive to every detail, be strong and don’t let anybody control you. (will share more of this on my other blog post)

Regrets after the Accident:

  1. Renewing/Changing our comprehensive insurance to a new insurance provider. It was very stressful to communicate with 2 different car insurances at the same time. Will share details more on this soon.
  2. I regret not telling my husband how much I love him despite of our differences the day we fight.
  3. I regret not understanding him more the time he needed it most.

It was only today, December 11, 2016, I have the courage to share my thoughts on this accident. And we hope and pray this won’t happen again.

Happyganics Baby Detergent Review

Are you an expectant mom or a new mom? If yes, welcome to the world of tons of baby clothes and laundry. Much more if you will use cloth diapers like me, you have to be careful choosing baby detergent brands to use and keep away your child’s clothes from any harmful chemicals and irritants which can be found in detergents.

I was blessed to received and try Happyganics baby laundry detergent. Let me share you why this is recommended for your little one’s clothes, bedding, towel, stroller cover and more.

900 grams can be used for 60 loads

Sodium Carbonate – “soda ash”, it is a water softener and helps laundry detergents to lather more effectively. Also a mild disinfectant and PH adjuster.

Sodium Chloride – also called table salt. It is to use as viscosity increasing agent in the detergent.

Sodium Metasilicate (Soda) – as builder to enhance the cleaning efficiency of the surfactant. It helps reduce water hardness.

Alkyl Polyglycoside (non-ionic surfactant from coconut and palm kernel oils) – They are used to enhance the formation of fine and smooth foam for delicate fabrics. Most importantly, they are readily biodegradable and skin friendly.

Sodium Sulfate (Natural Glauber’s Salt) – enable the detergent powder to flow freely, so that the detergent would not stick together.

Why Happyganics is safe to use?

It is 100% natural and bio-degradable, with no toxic chemicals. Ultra-concentrated.
No SLS – An anionic detergent and surfactant found in many personal care products such as soaps, shampoos, toothpaste etc. If expose you can have skin irritations, neurotoxicity, organ toxicity and disruption of the body’s endocrine system.
No optical brightening chemicals – dyes that are added to laundry detergent with sole intention of tricking your eyes believing that clothes are clean than they usually are, more specifically by reflecting blue light. Chances to get skin, eyes and pharynx irritation, liver damage, allergies, decreased heart rate, depressed ventilation in children and the cause of developmental effects on human.

No phosphates – chemicals found containing phosphorus. It is used to help soften water and remove soil, oil and grease. If expose to this kind of chemicals chances to experience diarrhea, skin irritations and nausea.

No chlorine bleach – known for it’s ability to keep clothes white in removing mold and mildew from shower and it’s disinfectant properties. Risks for eyes, skin and respiratory tract irritation by inhaling the gases of it.

No synthetic fragrances – derived from petrochemicals. Risks of cancer, nervous system disorders, allergies and even birth defects.
Hypoallergenic that prevents skin irritations and even perfect for sensitive skin.

Excellent cleaning power and 99.9% sterilization at the same.
Low suds, sutable for front or top loading standard and high efficiency washing machines.
Works well with cloth diapers, baby clothes, covers, rag dolls. Adults also can use it with their clothes.
Antibacterial that eliminates germs and odor. Leaves your laundry smell fresh even for indoor hanging of clothes.
Environment friendly.

1.5 kilograms P1, 390.00

900 grams – P 990.00

150 grams  – P 249.00

Comes in Lavender and Natural Unscented

  1. Use one 15g scoop for the 5kg load or 45 liters of water.
  2. Will dissolve in cold or hot water quickly.

MY FINAL SAY ABOUT THE PRODUCT: Tried this product for the cloth diapers, sweaters, even toys of my children I have, it leaves soothing smell because I used the Lavender scent. It is not foamy. If you will follow the directions well, you’ll get the result as expected. The only thing though that I noticed the product is quite expensive. But I guess  it can justify the product itself and since it is the safest baby laundry detergent in the market these days, moms won’t mind paying for the price and it can protect your child’s delicate skin and from any harmful ingredients. Yes, this is costly initially, but we should compute it based on the cost per load. Example for a 1.5kg can, it can wash 100 loads (5kls / load) @ Php 1,390. Which means per load the cost is PhP 13.90. For local brand, their price is about PhP 272 for 1KG and can only wash 22 loads (equivalent to heavy load or 5kg) this means that their cost per load is PhP 12.36. More or less, Happyganics price is competitive in the market. It is a little expensive because the raw materials is made in USA.

Product Rating: 4 out of 5, most likely to recommend the product ♥

Kids Camp at the Farm by MAD Travel & Human Nature

A truly well-rounded education should involve training not only the mind, but the heart and the hands too.

Last November 19, social tourism enterprise MAD (Make A Difference) Travel in partnership with Human Heart Nature organized a Kids Camp for children aged between 5 and 12 at the GK Enchanted Farm. Children got involved in a series of hands-on activities, from farming, feeding the pigs, peanut butter making competitions with First Harvest to stitching their own stuffed toys with Plush & Play, bread making & designing cookies with Make Peace Bakery.

These fun activities help to connect the children to nature through experiential learning. “Through farming, animal feeding and planting, the kids will get a better idea of where their food comes from, and how important it is that we develop agriculture in a sustainable way,” Raf Dionisio, the co-founder of MAD Travel, explains. The kids had fun exploring & learning in the outdoors without their parents having to worry about mosquito bites, too! Each camper got a DEET-free Bug Shield Oil Spray by Human Nature, the first Asian brand to receive a Sustainable Beauty Award from Organic Monitor.

“With many of the activities centered around social enterprises based at the farm, children will also be given a fun introduction to social enterprise and see how business can serve not only to enrich ourselves, but to make the world a better place” Raf explains.

For children growing up in the age of iPads and video games, it is an opportunity for them to have fun outdoors and interact with kids from different backgrounds, including scholars from Gawad Kalinga communities, who will join them in certain activities.

For its part, Human Nature emphasizes that children need to be encouraged to “step away from the screens and into the sunlight” to become fully understand the world around them. Human Nature partnered with MAD Travel because it believes that the Kids Camp is a creative and fun way of teaching children about environmental sustainability and serving the poor.

Raf, who through MAD Travel has developed other eco- and social tourism initiatives across the country, believes in the importance of outdoor camps because they had such an impact on him as a child: “Thanks to the kids camps I attended, I really grew to love the countryside. Holding these camps at the Enchanted Farm can hold an even greater significance: through bringing together kids from vastly different backgrounds, we hope to inspire not only a future generation of successful people, but nation builders, too.”

The Kids Camp takes place at the GK Enchanted Farm in Angat, Bulacan every month. The farm, surrounded by 40-hectares of land, is already hub for social entrepreneurs and volunteers coming from across the world. With high quality facilities such as a spa and an infinity pool, it is also a relaxing and inspiring destination for the entire family.

Upcoming Kids Camp schedule:  January 14, February 11, March 11, April 15

Registration fee is Php 2,200/head including farm-fresh lunch, (2) snacks, Human Nature Bug Shield Spray, and all activities in the itinerary. Round-trip transportation is available upon request.

Open to kids 3-12 years old. 3-5 year old must be accompanied by their parents. Register now at

San Pedro BBQ Sauce at Iba pa! An addition to Filipino’s Staple!

Manila, Philipppines, November 18, 2016 – After 10 years of testing, San Pedro BBQ Sauce at Iba pa! has finally engaged in sharing their delicious blend to the public.

It was initially an attempt to come up with a small business of selling barbeque on the streets until people started requesting for buying marinated meat whenever the BBQ store is closed. This triggered the idea of selling the yummy fusion in a bottle.

Salty and sweet with a kick of pepper is the best way to define the San Pedro BBQ Sauce ATBP! experience.

Directions for Use:
One bottle of San Pedro BBQ Sauce Atbp! can be used for a max of 1 & ½ KG meat. You can use pork, chicken or steak. Pour in 2/3 of the thick sauce to the meat for a minimum of 1 hour or overnight. Mix the remaining sauce with a small amount of cooking oil and use it for basting. Turn and baste it on both sides while cooking.

Some have tried using it for shrimp dip or as ramen sauce but Salmon is the most recent successful combination. That’s the reason why we named it “San Pedro BBQ Sauce at Iba pa!”. You can experiment on whichever food you want to use it with.

We will donate 5 pesos for every bottle sold to cancer patients.

Shelf life is 1 year.

Product Movement:

The owners had no idea that people would become obsessed with this divine delicacy and that it could earn more attention than they could ever imagine. Recently, an offer to manufacture it in the US and Australia is the best news they have received. Indeed, it’s a very promising

Purified Water, Soy Bean Extract, Sea Salt, Black Pepper and Caramel.
